Love to be loved by you!

I received my White Day present from my beloved yesterday. (St. Valentine's Day in Japan is a day when women give the special men in their lives boxes of chocolate. To balance out the one-sidedness of this practice, White Day was invented for men to reciprocate such gifts. While Valentine's Day is an imported convention, White Day (on March 14) is a purely Japanese creation.) He gave me the sweetest card--he had a friend doctor two photos together, one of him pulling a tarp across the back yard, and the other of me, put into grayscale and slightly oversized so that it looks like a statue. The inside reads: "I've been busy raising statues to you." Plus, he bought me a box of nine chocolates from Moonstruck Chocolates. They hand-make all of their stuff, and I have to say, it is the best chocolate I've ever had.

And I'm very much in a Beltane sort of mood today. Found that CD, much like aprilstarchild did. In fact, I'm the one who made it for her. Oooo, and "Creature of the Wood" just came on.
