aprilstarchild is having a get-together at her place beforehand, so we'll probably be stopping to pick up some sort of food to bring. We've got Tyson's "wizard trying to look like a normal, everyday muggle" outfit together, and I must have gone through more jewelry last night than I every knew that I had. Dressing up as Professor Trelawney is going to be fun. I pulled out pretty much everything that I have that could pass for a protective amulet, and will be wearing all of it. Let's see...that's an eye of Ra/udjat pendant, a winged scarab, a Thor's hammer, a pentacle, a large chunk of amber, a fossilized walrus tooth, a couple different crystals, a Green Man, and lots of gold chains and pearls behind that. Add to that about six bracelets per wrist, a ring for every finger, and three pairs of gold hoop earrings, and lots of silk and scarves, and I'm, as my brother put it, "Very pimpish. And that's a compliment."
