Buttons!

I've gone through my collection of buttons with snarky sayings on them, and found a few that, for want of a better phrase, "aren't quite me". Either that, or I already had one of the exact same button, and it's a duplicate. Here's the list:

A large (2" x 1") metal pin that says "Happy Yule"
A larger button that says "Born Again Pagan", with a crescent moon and sun below it
A larger button that says "Minds are like parachutes--they only function when open"
A medium button that says "I wasn't created in your image of God"
A pink oval clutch pin that says "Goddess" in big, swirly letters
A black largish button with a red star in the middle that says "Social thought/political economy" around the edge
A world AIDS day pin that says "Join us*We care" around a picture of the globe
A small yellow button that says "smile if you're a total idiot"

Would anybody out there in LJ-land like any of these buttons? Just let me know in the comments section. I'll even mail them to you (and pay the postage and everything!). I just want them to find good homes. If you'd like some of them, go ahead and comment--the comments field has been made screened. Go forth, and comment, people!

Perhaps the most irritating thing in the world is spending 3+ hours typing a letter to a friend, copying the text, and closing the document, but then telling the computer not to save what's on the clipboard, because you didn't think before you clicked the button. I'll be typing it up again tonight, and will this time hopefully not be as much of an idiot.

The buttons have all been claimed. I'll be distributing them on a first-commented, first-served basis, but no more than three buttons per person. Which means:

"Goddess" and "I wasn't created in your image of God" go to areshawna.

"Born again pagan", "Minds are like parachutes", and "Smile if you're a total idiot" go to nikkicoco777.

"Happy Yule" and maybe something else pagan-flavored from what I've got will go to thalesin.

And everything else (if she wants them all) goes to kittnslave.

I've also found one more that I'm putting up for grabs, but that I'd prefer go to someone other than the above-listed folks. (Not that I don't love you guys, but I want to spread the love.) The one button that is still up for grabs is a white button with a 1950s housewife on it that says, "Oh no! I turned out just like my mother!" If you'd like it, let me know.
