birdspiritlandCaffeine and I are having an illicit affair...and it's working out wonderfully. I'm energetic, slightly loopy, and looking forward to a lot of good things happening this week. The weekend was great, so that bodes well, right?
Saturday's "Vampire" game was great, and I still can't stop laughing. It's also inspired a soon-to be-finished new piece of art: Charissa, in her dress, with Fritz and the huge umbrella, standing in the rain, done Edward Gorey-style. The title? "Quite.".
My pics should be up by the end of this week. April and I are planning to be Victorian harlots for Halloween, with Tyson as our pimp. That means we go around in underwear that's more modest than some outerwear these days, and Tyson gets a spiffy jacket and a top hat. So April, what do you think about taking it all a step further, and doing this Day of the Dead style? Same costumes, just skeletal face makeup and some cobwebs.
I'm kind of nervous about the upcoming chat with AnnaLee. Long story short, we've had our differences for a couple years now, but each of us is essentially still the person that the other one used to know. We're going to talk about the changes in our lives with Katrina as moderator. I know it'll be fine, but I'm allowed a few jitters, right?
Tyson's leaving on a leadership retreat with the PCC ASPCC, since he's President of Campus Affairs. Which means that tonight is the last extended contact that we'll have with each other until Friday. I'll probably see him tomorrow, but it'll be short. Wish me luck.
Saw "Quills" for the first time. Still thinking about it. I actually enjoyed it, much to my surprise. Everything, that is, except for the bit where they cut his tongue out. I'm really squeamish when it comes to mutilation of eyes, tongues, etc.
