Tomorrow is another day

birdspiritlandSunday, Sunday, SUNDAY!!! Shouldn't I be at a monster truck rally or something? Hmm...maybe it's the fact that I've just spent six hours at work, in a quiet library, and stretching out the time between shelving individual books for as long as I can. It's been a happy sort of day, as was the one that came before it.
The party yesterday was one of the least stress-inducing that I've been to recently. A lot of the time, I get agitated around a lot of people, don't know quite where to focus myself, and just end up with a big headache. But yesterday was good. There was much Kara-ness and April-ness and Ryan-ness and Jax-ness...
And there was Mike's Hard Lemonade. Woot.
But seriously, it was lots of fun. I got to show Ryan and Kara the pictures which will soon be sent to Lux on a new disk, in the hopes that the new one will read better. Talked with Kara, got lots of hugs. Let Jax draw on my back, which in and of itself was a big step for me in terms of trust. She fascinates me, and I definitely wouldn't mind getting to know her better. But there's also something that makes me hold up my boundaries more than I usually do with people. Is strange. But mybe if I can remind myself to relax and just talk, it'll finally sink in through my thick skull. Must remember to check out Counting Crows some time this week.
And tomorrow, I have the entire house to myself! *cue ominous music* Maybe I can do laundry or wash the dishes or finish the letter to Kendra that I keep not finishing.
Or maybe I'll just end up on the computer for half the day or so. Whichever.
