Yay for history!

wyrmul is awesome. Why? Because he introduced me to Fighting Jack Churchill, a soldier who fought throughout World War II armed with a longbow, arrows, and a Claymore. Yes, a Claymore.

Go read about him. It's a short entry, and you won't be disappointed.

Specifically, take a look at the second picture on the page, where he's "leading a training exercise" armed with his sword. He's the one on the far right in the foreground. You can very clearly see the sword that he holds in his right hand if you enlarge the picture.
