Generically pissed off
Jul. 7th, 2003 06:37 pmWell, well, well. Very first entry in this sort of thing, baring the figurative flesh for the world to see, and I'm going to start it off with some petty bitching. But hey--one has to start somewhere, does one not?
A friend who keeps a journal elsewhere is slowly but surely making me very annoyed with her. At first, it was slight--offending my beloved's honor. (Or so I thought. I went back to read it, and it wasn't as derogatory as I had remembered. And for that initial outburst, I'm sorry.) But going through it more, I find myself increasingly confused and frightened by who she's become recently. I no longer know her, and am torn between attempting to speak with her about things, cutting all the loose threads that tie us together, and hitting her upside the head with a 2x4. She's gotten arrogant, prideful, and self-righteous lately, and it's doing quite a number on my psyche at the moment.
But on a happier note, only four days to go 'till the first day of Oregon Country Fair! If you're there, look for a woman painted red and dressed in deer skins with a bone rattle--on Saturday, at least.
Until next time, gentle readers.
