And so, as a way to poke at various friends who haven't updated in a while, what's going on in your lives? I barely hear from some of my friends list these days.

This is not to imply that those of you who update are slackers. I'm just nosy and curious to see what folks are up to.

Seeing more of my sister (or rather, of her kid) now that her bf is out of town more
Dealing with him wanting to follow me around the garden
Dreading all my tags like a thing that is very, very full of dread
Somehow not getting any of your heat, having a garden that is pathetically behind in everything, mostly producing squash and blackberries
Being too beat to either go shopping or cook
Being very sleepy but not having a good sleep schedule somehow

Been behind on house work, so it's a total mess here.
Found out that my Zeetha costume from last year's con is not made to dance in, coming up with back-up plans.
Currently writing the biggest piece of WTFery since Batman/George Washington.

Well, Last month I went to visit friends in Texas with my wee one. We took Greyhound(a mistake I won't soon repeat).
It was hotter than hell out there, relaxing, stress-free, fun, full of happy memories and sappy touristy experiences(until the trip home, as they lost my wee ones posh booster seat and someone ransacked my suitcase and took the prezzies I got for folks. A driver was also very rude, foul, and unprofessional, so I made sure folks were able to explain this to corporate, and appropriate action was taken.). One of them had a birthday while I was there, and I got to experience all the touristy cuisine Texas has to offer(this carnivore has lost any and all appetite for Midwest restaurants and the lesser beefs). We return in May for a wedding(Renaissance style at the Faire).

Oh, and I also got me a very significant other on said vacation. Whee! My wee one loves them on first impression, so I'm playing this one carefully for now.

That celebration of birth thing comes later this month, along with DaMama(inside joke nickname)taking me out for the usual day of slots and fun.
I wish I could afford a trip around the nation to meet and greet all of my friends and give my little one an experience that is both mentally stimulating and fun.

That's the news from my neck of the woods, now back to you dear! My internet is spotty due to random weather(some days wireless stinks), so when I am doing kid sitting I will log in and try to remember to post, PROMISE!!!!

Urgh, yeah, so I've been off LJ, too.

Well, I've barely been home the last few weeks except for sleeping really. I've been renovating in my taekwondo club, with a great result after more than two weeks of work, been to two family birthdays and a private camp with friends. :)

I think I should have kept better up to date on LJ, but I haven't had the energi for much of anything when I've gotten home in the evening, so that's the reason I've been gone.

Now, I need to get today's to do list done and get ready for a week in a summerhouse with a friend. :D
